Vegan Dairy-free Gluten-free Almond Flapjacks contains nuts.
This easy to make recipe takes about 12 minutes to prepare and 20 minutes to cook.
Place 200 grams almond butter,
55 grams molasses,
50 g dairy-free olive or soya spread- margarine and
50 g sugar in a saucepan over a low heat.
Stir until the sugar and margarine are dissolved.
Then stir until there are no lumps in the almond butter, until the whole mixture is smooth.
Add 200g of rolled oats and mix thoroughly.
Place on parchment paper with enough paper to cover the amount as you roll it out flat. Cut the flat mixture into squares. Place the parchment paper and squares in a roasting pan in a preheated fan oven 125 centigrade.
Remove from the oven after 20 minutes, cover with a tea towel until the flapjacks are cool.
Place the pieces in an airtight container and eat within a week or place some squares in freezer bags in the deep Freeze.
